Revival services will be held at Union Grove Baptist Church thru August 29. Guest speakers will be :

  Friday-Johnny Martin.

Services times will be at 7pm. Everyone is welcome.


Hodges Chapel Baptist Church in Winfield is having Revival services now thru Friday (Aug 29). Guest evangelist is Rev. Christopher Wriley, pastor of New Zion Pilgrim Baptist Church in Columbus. Service time is 7pm nightly.

New Friendship Missionary Baptist Church will have a Fellowship Program August 30 at 2:30pm. The theme will be "The Works of the Holy Spirit". There will be several special speakers.

El Bethel Baptist Church will have a singing Saturday (Aug 30) at 7pm. Special singers will be Saving Grace, plus several others. Everyone is invited.

The Canaan & Pickensville District Minister's and Deacon's Meeting will be held at the Fayette Civic Center Aug. 30-31, hosted by Rocky Ridge Baptist Church.

Covin Baptist Church will have a singing Sunday (Aug 31) beginning at 1pm. Guest singers will be Son Light from Hattley, Mississippi. Everyone is welcome.

The Lamar County Singing Convention will be held at First Free Will Baptist Church in Vernon Sunday (Aug 31) at 1:30pm. Guest singers will be The Ole Timers Quartet from Columbus, also other special singing. Everyone is invited.

Revival services will be held at Unity Grove Baptist Church September 1st-5th at 7pm. Rev. Forrest Moore, pastor of West Highland Baptist in Tuscaloosa will be the evangelist for the week. There will be special music each night.

Full Gospel Worship Center in Vernon is having services on Monday nights at 7pm with different speakers each week. Everyone is welcome.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry group will meet on Tuesday (Sept. 2) instead of Monday which is Labor Day. The meeting will be held at St. Michael's Episcopal Church at 6pm. 

A new community-wide ladies Bible study will begin Wednesday, Sept. 10th at

10am at Fayette First Baptist Church. The Priscilla Shirer video "He Speaks To Me" will be taught. For information and to order a workbook, call Pat McCabe at 932-4866.
